As part of our commitment to safe work practices, BCL service providers underwent an intensive, two-day defensive driver training program in Arawa last month.
Twenty participants took part with day one of the course involving classroom sessions on subjects such as safety legislation, accident causation and vehicle inspections, while day two was dedicated to practical driver training, including competency assessments.
As we all know, Bougainville can present some challenging driving conditions and it’s important our service providers are as well equipped as they can be to carry out their work as safely as possible. Thanks to Concept Group for running the program.
