Bougainville Copper would like to warmly congratulate Peter Taylor who was awarded a CBE for services to the community, to business, economic development and international relations in Papua New Guinea.
Peter is the former Chairman and Managing Director of Bougainville Copper. He lived and worked in Bougainville during the mines operation and was appointed a director of Bougainville Copper in April 1997, managing director in March 2000 and was the Chairman from October 2003 to June 2016.
Peter has over 30 years involvement with Papua New Guinea and Bougainville in particular. His community and business affiliations include former chairman of Australian Business Volunteers and is the past president the Australian Papua New Guinea Business Council.
