David Osikore

David was appointed to the board in August 2019 and brings 30 years’ experience in the exploration and mining industries in both Papua New Guinea and Australia to the role.

He commenced his career with the Papua New Guinea Department of Mines, attached to the geological survey division, and went on to work with various exploration and mining companies, including BCL.

During his career, David served in roles ranging from exploration geologist, director and managing director. He was one of the founding directors of Pantoro Limited and served on its board from 2008 to 2016 and is also currently on the board of Pacific Niugini Minerals PNG.

David has extensive experience in PNG engaging at different levels of business, government and with project area landowners; holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (geology) from the University of Papua New Guinea and is a professional Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM). He was born in Buin, Bougainville.
